Fear No Fear

“His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who has called us by His own glory and excellence,” (2 Peter 1:3, MEV). That means we have what we need to succeed. We can bring glory to God in what we say, in what we think, and in what we do. No excuses because God has GIVEN TO US all the things that we need. If we want to engage them, we need to know Jesus better. The more we know Jesus, the more we can engage what Jesus is holding out to us. Because we’ll know it’s there. This is SO JESUS! Giving us what we need to succeed. Giving us what we need before we know we need it OR that it is even there. It’s like He’s about to ask us to drive down the road and He’s arranged for lessons, the license, has a car hidden in the garage that He’s put in our name, and has angels out marking the route and clearing it of deadly traffic (Psalm 91). That is what Jesus does. He has ALWAYS gone far and away part what we think He should, what we imagine that He should, and how we think things work. God is ALWAYS more than enough. That’s how He operates. We can ONLY fail when we let US get more on our minds than JESUS is. When WE get in OUR OWN WAY! Jesus is ALWAYS looking out for us, ALWAYS guiding us, and ALWAYS equipping us. We ALREADY have what we need, praise God! He is SO GOOD to us. He is a MERCIFUL God and a LOVING God. He is GOOD.
