Fear No Fear

“Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, “My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My good pleasure,”” (Isaiah 46:9-10, MEV). I could not have told you many of the things that happened throughout this last year before they happened. I never would have guessed. Some of it was welcome, and some of it was not. But throughout the year, every day of it, I have been grateful for the Lord. He’s faithfully guided me and mine, and many of you as well. I’m sure like me you didn’t always listen. But He NEVER failed. He prepared for things. He made sure needs were met. He warned. He encouraged. He directed. He commanded. He was NEVER EVER wrong. Whenever I listened, it was a BLESSING. Whenever I obeyed – no matter how strange it seemed at the time – it was ALWAYS a success. He directs our steps because He is the ONLY ONE who truly can. He can see what NOTHING and NO ONE else can see. He is GOOD to us. He is MERCIFUL. He is FAITHFUL. He is MAJESTIC and GLORIOUS. He is worthy of our worship. He is worthy of our obedience. He is GOD and He is GOOD. He has shepherded me throughout this year and I give Him the glory for each and every success. All my good ideas come from Him. He is my Source. He loves me. He corrects me. He guides me. He is good to me. I cannot say enough about Him. I thank Him for this year. I thank Him for the future. And I put myself in His hands. I hope you will too, because He loves you VERY MUCH and is the BEST guide and LORD you could EVER have.
