Fear No Fear

“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance. For you serve the Lord Christ” (Colossians 3:23-24, MEV). Whatever I do. Wherever I am. The Lord is with me. I can choose to do things my way (BAD idea – Romans 14:23). I can choose to do things His way (GOOD idea – Deuteronomy 28:1). Either way, God is WITH ME (Hebrews 13:5). How God treats us isn’t performance based. What we receive from God is based on what is in our hearts. We’re either in a place where we CAN receive from God, we’re in a place where we can only receive CORRECTION from God, or we’re in a place where we are REJECTING what God is offering. Whatever our choice, He is THERE. Which means He is ALWAYS and EVER a source of HELP (Psalm 46:1). He isn’t letting us do willy-nilly without caring what is happening. He is actively encouraging us, guiding us, and instructing us in how to be and stay where we can receive what God is offering to us. Where we can LIVE in the BLESSING. Where we are aligned with His Will and stick to it. And He never stops because He’s ALWAYS there. What a great companion! What a great King! Not in an ivory tower, but intimately concerned with each and every one of us. What other god is there like the One True God? He is a GOOD God!
