Fear No Fear

“ Let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth.” And it was so.“
Genesis 1:15

These lights have been created for the benefit of those on the earth. The Earth isn’t the perfect distance away from the sun; the sun is the perfect distance away from the Earth.

God has spoken them into existence, He has placed them into the expanse, and here He is cementing them into their purpose. He specifically makes their purpose to be seen from the Earth – because most of what they ‘do’ wouldn’t necessarily need to be seen. But here, He makes it clear they are to be SEEN on this planet of ours. There is also a possible division here of God just speaking to OUR sun and moon (which reflects the light of the sun), and not commanding that the purpose of all the suns in the universe to be seen from Earth.

God commanded and the celestial bodies went into their places and began performing their functions (which they still do) exactly as He said and intended for it to be.
