Fear No Fear

“This is so God’s multi-faceted wisdom may now be made known through the church to the rulers and authorities in the heavens. This is according to His eternal purpose accomplished in the Messiah, Jesus our Lord. In Him we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him” (Ephesians 3:10-12, HCSB). God’s Word is MULTI-FACETED. Every one of us gets something different from the lessons it reveals to us. Every one of us can draw different themes and parallels. Four different ministers could look at the same passage and bring forth four different lessons it can teach us. Are three of them wrong? No! God’s Word is multi-faceted! There is ALWAYS something to learn. ALWAYS something to draw out of it. AND it can be relied on by testing it against itself. No verse stands alone. There are ALWAYS connections with other verses. All its themes are echoed throughout the scriptures. Line builds upon line and precept upon precept. It NEVER contradicts itself. Because of this, there is always something to learn from it no matter what stage our relationship with God is at. As we deepen our relationship, our understanding of the Word deepens. Never boring. Never static. Never dull. Always applicable. Holy Spirit wrote the Word to be always engaging. What a FAITHFUL witness of His love to us it is.
