“There was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.“
Genesis 1:19
This is the close of the fourth day and the end of His work with the expanse, so once it was declared GOOD – that everything was exactly as He had imagined, designed, and spoken it to be – the day closed. Everything was now set, in regards to the expanse and its purpose. It’s interesting to me that none of the days end until He is done what He is doing at that stage. Not everything is declared good at the stage he is working (water and the expanse), but every stage completes. He lays it all out very methodically. It’s almost symmetrical in order, looking at it how it was laid down. Nothing was left to chance. Everything was meticulously planned out, spoken, executed, invested with purpose, and set into its place. It is a MONUMENTAL undertaking and He goes through it all step by step. Starts in the evening, ends in the morning, a day completed.
