Fear No Fear

“His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”” (John 2:5, MEV). Whatever Jesus says, do it. This is a WONDERFUL philosophy to live by. A tremendous and life-changing way of approaching living. Jesus says SO MUCH to us. And all of it is a call to live according to God’s ideals. His point of view. We can’t do it without Jesus. We can’t manage it without Holy Spirit. And it will have no power without the Father. But if we start with DOING what He tells us to, one thing at a time even, we WILL get there. Because He doesn’t overwhelm us. Neither does He expect us to do the heavy lifting. What WE do is to reject ungodly thoughts by replacing them with godly ones. Broken thinking with the Word. Feelings with fruit – and then building our emotions from them. Piece by piece, glory to glory, step by step, doing what we are called to do. Doing what we are ASKED to do. Choosing to humbly submit to our Lord and Saviour. Our King. Because He LOVES us. Because He has GOOD THINGS for us. Because we LOVE Him. Because we WORSHIP Him. Love of Jesus – His for us and ours for Him – will transform us from the inside out. It makes us participants of the Kingdom, not lazy spectators. Submitting to His will done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Founded on and powered by LOVE.
