Fear No Fear

“For I satiate the weary souls and I replenish every languishing soul” (Jeremiah 31:25, MEV). I am REFRESHED by the Lord whenever I submit to Him. Whenever I have the opportunity to take frustration and stress that comes on me, anger and intense feelings that seek to climb on to ride my shoulders, I am GRATEFUL that I can refuse them. That I can take them off like a smelly sweatshirt and toss them in the bin. That I do NOT have to take onto myself ANYTHING that He has not spoken over me. I am FREE from all of that. Free from the chains of feeling. Free from the expectations of society to be ‘stressed out’. Free from anxiety and depression. I am FREE from ALL of it. Not because it has disappeared, but because I can replace it with something better: Jesus! I can put it in His hands. I can nail it to His cross. I can take communion on it and enter into HIS rest. I can look to something better than what’s trying to climb onto my back and choose to embrace HIM and His moral character. It is so refreshing to be loved so much that you are given what you need to succeed.
