Fear No Fear

“I saw heaven opened. And there was a white horse. He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war” (Revelation 19:11, MEV). This is our Jesus. Faithful. True. And not a powerless idea that is exhorting from afar. He’s chomping at the bit to come back. He’s eager to meet His bride, protect His remnant, and bring to a close everything that needs closing. Through all of that, we’re right here. In the crook of His arm. Balanced on His pommel like beloved siblings. We’re right there in the middle of His will – IF we will listen. And that’s where we want to be. Right in the middle of His will. He loves us VERY much and doesn’t want to see harm come to us OR for us to miss His will. He is guiding us. Protecting us. And calling us to stand firm no matter WHAT it looks like to other people or ourselves. We can be looking at our storms from HIS perspective – above them. We don’t need to be removed from them. We can do His will and walk in His love through all the winds, waves, and rocks that are around. There is no defeat, when we are walking in His will and with His love. In HIM is overcoming. In HIM is victory. In HIM is the place where we can give glory to the Father at ALL times and in ALL things. It’s a WONDERFUL place to live, but we have to choose it daily and stand firm when the world tries to make it shaky. We are secure in Jesus when it is Jesus we trust, love, and obey.
