2026 Daily Affirmation #46

Certainly, the hand of the Lord is not so short that it cannot save, nor is His ear so dull that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He will not hear” (Isaiah 59:1-2, MEV). There are times when we FEEL alone. When it SEEMS like God isn’t listening to us. But God is ALWAYS there inside our hearts, living where He said He would (Hebrews 13:5; 1 Corinthians 3:16). God ALWAYS hears us. The question, then, is why we feel this way. First of all, God always hears when we pray according to His Word – so are we praying something that is AGAINST His Word? And secondly, have we put something before Him? Have we been trusting in Him or have we put something else first, turned away, and rebelled (sinned)? We are NOT perfect. We may not be sinners by nature anymore (2 Corinthians 5:17; Colossians 3:10), but we ARE capable of CHOOSING to sin. Have we? Have we put something before Him? Have we failed to trust in Jesus over something? Does it seem like our prayers are emptily echoing because we’ve turned away? Guess what? He STILL loves us. He does. He LOVES you. And He made a provision so that we can turn to Him, repent of that lack of trust in Jesus, get His light on the situation so we see it like He does, take the correction and CHOOSE not to do that again, and get right with Him (1 John 1:9). Isn’t that GREAT? He doesn’t hold it against us. He made a Way for repentance. For a return to His ways and His thinking. He loves us so much, He never wants us to turn away or be apart from Him!
