Fear No Fear

“Yahweh God made a woman from the rib which he had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.“
Genesis 2:22

Once again God was directly involved in the creation of the human being. He had personally fashioned them before. Now He personally separates and finishes them as individuals. He made sure we were compatible. He made sure we were good. He made sure we were exactly as He had envisioned us being. Everything that was female was incorporated into the male and here is made a stand alone individual. The female is an extension of the male, not inferior to the male. They are neither of them complete without the other. They have to cooperate in order to be the one individual God had created them to be. Perfect fellowship. This is the covenant picture. This is the image of God.

God did not have to breathe into the female to give her life, because He had already breathed the breath of lives into them (Genesis 2:7). Not just the one life, but all the lives that would ever be. All of the descendants of these two human beings, all the lives that would ever live. He impregnated the human being He made with all the potential lives that would come from His command to be fruitful and His command to multiply (Genesis 1:28).

When God was done building the female, He woke the male and presented him with his perfect helpmate. His equal. His mirror image. This was someone possessing the features of a human being, much like those of the male. She would be different from the male only in some minor physical features (how the brain functions chemically, the pelvic bone, some slight skull differences, etc). She would possess the same ability and command to perfect her personality as did the male (be fruitful).
