Fear No Fear

“Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him” (Proverbs 30:5, MEV). God NEVER stops speaking to us. But He doesn’t shout. He just talks. When WE make noise, we cannot hear Him. It is when we are QUIET that we hear Him. He won’t talk over you. He won’t yell and thump the table. We’re not babies. We have a responsibility to listen. And when we DO listen, we’re saved from everything that is seeking to sink us because He has a way and a solution for everything. We did wrong and have negative consequences? He knows how to walk us through those. We did good and have good consequences? He knows how to walk us through those. We aren’t believing and trusting in our hearts as we COULD? He knows how to walk us through whatever we’re going through. We’re waiting on a healing? He knows how to wait with us until we receive. Disease running rampant through the world? He knows the best way for you to navigate that. He knows the best driving routes. The best stores to shop at. The people He wants you to touch. Those who need to see His example shining out of you. The best way to communicate with your kids and your spouse. The people to hang with and the people not to. The best way to clean your oven, take out the trash, and where to shop for what He can show you how to cook. He knows the passage in the Word that will touch you today. He knows the praise song that will turn your eyes to Him. He knows the words of the prayer that He wants you to pray because of the cooperation with Him it will open up. He isn’t going to force you into any of it. He’s offering to cooperate with you, guide you, lead you, SHOW you what is best – best for you and best from His point of view. He has opened His mind to you, if you’ll take the time to study it. To open your life to Him. To allow Him to guide you. That’s how much He loves us. He is here, right now, right beside you, waiting to help you life the BEST life you can (John 10:10). Take a moment. Listen. Let Him love you.
