Fear No Fear

“For whatever was previously written was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope” (Romans 15:4, MEV). No matter how crazy things get, there is something in the Word that speaks to it. The Word is encouraging. Not only in how we can conduct ourselves. Not only in showing us what the future holds for humanity. Not only in guiding us in praise of the Lord. Not only in guidance for how to produce fruitfully. Not only in how we can turn to the Lord. But a message of Grace and Mercy combined with the Truth that in the end, Yahweh wins. No matter what war breaks out, Yahweh wins. No matter how expensive things get, Yahweh wins. No matter what natural (or not) disasters strike, Yahweh wins. No matter what diseases and sicknesses are loosed, Yahweh wins. The Lord God WINS!!! That’s a TREMENDOUS message for us. It shows His love for us that He doesn’t hide the truth from us. He puts it where we can find it. Where it can affect our lives. Where it can help us transform from people who live life, to people who are living according to the moral character of God. That’s a HUGE gift to us. It gives us victory where we could not get it ourselves. It gives us help where we could not help ourselves. It enables us to love HIS way, where before we could only do it in a pale imitation. That big of a gift, shows us how big His love for us is.
