Fear No Fear

“The glory of this latter house will be greater than the former, says the Lord of Hosts. And in this place I will give peace, says the Lord of Hosts” (Haggai 2:9, MEV). Most of us do it. We eat the stuff we don’t like before the stuff we like. We save the best treats until the others are gone. We like to save the best for last. Jesus loves us. He REALLY loves us. And He saved us for these days. Are they the last of the last days of this Earth? I don’t know. But they sure are OUR last days. And He saved us for this time. Yes, the world is going crazy. Maybe a little more than it has before, or at least certainly in different ways. And WE were saved for these days. Because He wanted US – you and me – to witness and participate (as cooperators) in what He is doing. In what will be happening. Some of it will take us completely by surprise – even though He told us it was coming and warns us today. Some of it MIGHT seem terrifying – but His Name is a strong fortress and His wings are where His children are sheltered. But there will be things that happen that will reveal His glory in ways it has never been revealed before. And WE get to witness it. We get to see Him move like never before. He’s been waiting and looking forward to what He can show you; to how He can be a Source to you like He was to the Israelites in the desert and Elijah in the drought; to be able to cooperate with you so that there is a witness like there never has been before on this Earth of what a Great God, Great Saviour, and Great Lord He really is; and so that His Light can shine brighter than ever through you and through me. He loved you so much, He saved you for last. Isn’t that awesome?
