“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. I give them eternal life. They shall never perish, nor shall anyone snatch them from My hand” (John 10:27-28, MEV). I watched a video of a toddler toddling down a line of soldiers. They were all dressed the same. The child was barely taller than their knees. As it toddled along, it kept saying ‘nope’ as it passed each pair of legs. Five soldiers. Ten. Then suddenly it stopped. Turned to face the legs. And exclaimed, ‘Daddy!’ That toddler walked past identical uniforms. Same boots. Same pants. But it KNEW its Daddy. Jesus loves us. He spends time with us. He speaks to us. He invests His time with us. In response, we KNOW Him. Other people can come and say things to us, but we KNOW if those words are from Jesus. We hear messages and digest information, but we KNOW if they are aligned with Jesus. Because we KNOW Him. He KNOW His voice. We KNOW when He is speaking. We KNOW His character. We are being shown His salvation. Every day. In SO MANY ways. We read it in the Word. We hear it in anointed teaching and preaching. Holy Spirit convicts us about what we can be in and through Jesus. Our whole lives can be about our relationship with Him. Godly actions. Godly words. Godly thinking. And it all starts with the love Jesus has for us. THAT is why we know. THAT is why we hear. THAT is why we study. And THAT is why we replicate. Why we act like Jesus. We KNOW Him, we LOVE Him, and we seek to NEVER be apart from Him. Amen.
