Fear No Fear

“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved” (John 3:17, MEV). God is not ANGRY at you. He doesn’t want you to be AFRAID. Being told you are a sinner is the same thing as being told you are your biological parent’s child or that you are a citizen of the country that you were born in. It was a result of being the offspring of Adam and Eve through their son Seth and his descendant Noah. They were sin-filled so YOU were sin-filled. God isn’t angry at you for that. That would make NO sense. God hates SIN (Romans 1:18). God hates those who willingly engage in sin because it is sinful (Psalm 5:5). God LOVES people and wants ALL of them saved, from the littlest baby to the worst Hitler, serial killer, or terrorist (1 Timothy 2:4-6). That’s why Jesus came. He paid for Sin. The Father poured His wrath out on Sin that Jesus had become for us (2 Corinthians 5:21) so that the price could be paid and salvation offered to us (Romans 6:23). He did that because He LOVES us and seeks for us to love Him in return. He wants us to know we can come home to Him. We don’t have to perish. We don’t have to let fallen nature take its course. We can have life (John 10:10). We can have a relationship with Him (John 17:3). We were NOT given a spirit of fear (2 Timothy 1:7). We were given JESUS, who brings PEACE and JOY whenever we need it. If we seek Him, we get all that He is offering us. He LOVES us. He wants better for us than we want for ourselves. EVERY. TIME.
