Ruach HaKodesh “Harmony”

(All scripture from Lexham English Bible, Copyright 2012 Logos Bible Software)

And the one who searches our hearts knows what the mindset of the Spirit is, because he intercedes on behalf of the saints according to the will of God.

Romans 8:27

We’re either with Him or we’re not with Him. Simple as that. “The one who is not with me is against me, and the one who does not gather with me scatters” (Matthew 12:30). Generally speaking, we don’t like to hear that. We like to have our opinions. We like to have our grey areas. We don’t LIKE black and white. But those grey areas? They’re NOT a good thing. “Thus, because you are lukewarm and neither hot nor cold, I am about to vomit you out of my mouth!” (Revelation 3:16). Adonai is the ONLY objective source of truth and morality. Everything else is subjective. It is OF this creation, IN this creation, or made BY something of or in this creation. AI is made by us and is therefore incapable of being objective. Everything about AI is based in this creation. Adonai is the ONLY thing outside creation. He is CREATOR and not CREATED.

Everything Jesus did, from turning water to wine to walking on water, was because He was aligned with Ruach HaKodesh. That’s why He could not perform any miracles before His baptism. That’s why He would not ever even TRY to perform a miracle before His baptism. That’s when Ruach HaKodesh descended on Him and stayed with Him. That’s why He told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4). They had no ability to get in line with Ruach HaKodesh, so they were not able to be in the perfect will of Adonai (Romans 12:2). Once they had been baptized by/with Ruach HaKodesh, He was dwelling in them and with them and THEN they were able to harmonize with Him. By harmonizing with Ruach HaKodesh – changing THEIR attitudes, thoughts, and feelings with HIS – they would be in the perfect will of Adonai.

When we are harmonized with the Father’s will, we are partnering with Ruach HaKodesh. This is SO IMPORTANT because THAT is how EVERYTHING in the Kingdom gets accomplished. “So when the disciples heard this, they were extremely amazed, saying, “Then who can be saved?” But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With human beings this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”” (Matthew 19:25-26). Adonai has chosen NOT to work in this world without a human partner (1 Corinthians 3:9; Philippians 1:5; 2 Chronicles 16:9). When we are working together, hand in hand, then ALL things are possible. He isn’t looking for our opinions – I’m not saying He never asks, but it is not often. He’s looking for a willing heart to cooperate with Him (1 Corinthians 3:6). We always have a part to play. The question is whether we will play it, or try to get things into committee so that we can have what WE want, when WE want it, and do things how WE think they should be done.

One of the most powerful things about the powerhouse that is Ruach HaKodesh dwelling in us is NOT the power that responds to trust in Adonai. It’s the reminder He can bring to the forefront of our consciousness of what Jesus has said to us through the Word (John 14:26). It brings us the perspective we need. It brings us something to hang onto as we turn ourselves around, out of our old habits, and into His. Why drive through the same ruts we always have when we can get into the ruts Jesus’ tires made and go His way. Hanging onto the wheel of our vehicle to stay in them, instead of steering ourselves all over the place.

It is through partnership with Ruach HaKodesh that we see Adonai working through us. Humbly submitted to Him, holding to the yoke of Jesus and going where He goes (Matthew 11:28-30). We’re not being asked to do the things. We’re being asked to do the groundwork so that the things can be done. Look at when Adonai told them to dig pits in 2 Kings 3. The idea was both to get water to save the people and animals AND deliver their enemies to them. Adonai was going to send water there. If they had ditches dug, they would benefit from it. If not, they wouldn’t. Adonai was doing the miracle. He was bringing water to a desert. He was defeating an entire army with water in a desert. But if the people hadn’t done their part and dug the ditches? They would have had no water and therefore no miracle. They would probably have died. Instead, they cooperated. They got in harmony with Adonai and partnered with Him.

We can do the same thing. We have Ruach HaKodesh living inside us (1 Corinthians 3:16). We can choose to only do what the Father tell us just like Jesus did (John 5:19; 1 John 4:17). We can choose to only SAY what the Father tells us too like Jesus did (John 12:49). We can live this way because HE says we can. We can live this way because HE enables us to. We can live this way because HE equips us. We can live this way because HE is doing the heavy lifting. We CAN obey. We CAN do the work He’s given us to do. We CAN get in harmony with Ruach HaKodesh and cooperate with Adonai HIS way in HIS time. We CAN. It’s how we become overcomers (John 16:33). It’s how we become prosperous in the things of the Kingdom (3 John 2), from which everything else flows (Matthew 6:33). If our perspective is on Him, it doesn’t matter what else is seen. WE know because HE knows and HE brings it to our mind. Harmonize with Ruach HaKodesh and be His partner for life – abundant life that never ends.

Daily Affirmation of the Goodness of Elohim: Proverbs 18:17-21

The first in his dispute is deemed righteous, but his neighbor will come and examine him. The lot will put an end to disputes, and between powerful contenders it will decide. A brother who is offended is worse than a city of strength, and quarrels are like the bars of a fortification. From the fruit of a man’s mouth, his stomach will be satisfied, as for the yield of his lips, it will satisfy. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love her will eat of her fruit.” We have a lot of opportunities to say things. The Shunammite woman of 2 Kings 4 had MANY chances. She didn’t back down. Her child was damaged, she knew it would work out because of God. He died. She was still sure. Her husband asked if there was a problem and she said no, it is well. She was still sure. Elisha asked her, she said it is well. Elisha’s servant reported the young man was dead, she didn’t back off. She said it is well and it WILL be well. Elisha agreed with her (Matthew 18:19). The young man was raised from the dead – only the second person EVER at that point. She didn’t go with what she felt – which must have been a LOT (I’ve lost a child and can attest to that). She didn’t go with what she saw or what anyone else saw. She didn’t go with what was reported – she didn’t deny the words, she just held to the FACT that because of God, it WOULD be well. She held onto her trust in God and NEVER let go. It was rewarded. Her son lived. She ate the fruit of her trust and her confession and her belief. The Lord didn’t let her down. He won’t let US down either when we do the same. It’s GREAT fruit that He grows for us (Galatians 5:22-23). He gives it to us freely and without limit. What a GOOD God!

I taste and see that Yahweh is good; I am blessed because I take refuge in Him.
