Healing Wings “Truth Train”

(All scripture from the NET, netbible.org, all rights reserved)

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people. It trains us to reject godless ways and worldly desires and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, as we wait for the happy fulfillment of our hope in the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. He gave himself for us to set us free from every kind of lawlessness and to purify for himself a people who are truly his, who are eager to do good.
Titus 2:11-14 (emphasis added)

Sickness is a violation of the law of health, which is the condition all human beings (or any living thing) was meant to operate under. Everything was created and everything was good. Sickness is very much NOT good (Exodus 23:25; Luke 10:9). It is part of this world and ourselves because we and this world are fallen. “For the creation eagerly waits for the revelation of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility—not willingly but because of God who subjected it—in hope that the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage of decay into the glorious freedom of God’s children” (Romans 8:19-21). We share the same bondage. In Jesus, however, living souls can be freed from that bondage. Humanity (both male and female) are living souls housed in the flesh (dirt) of this world (Genesis 2:7-9). We are unique in creation (Genesis 1:26). We can enter into Jesus’ resurrection and be remade into something OUTSIDE of the fallen condition. We don’t deserve it, but through Grace and in Jesus, we can engage it.

Elohim never lies. He always tells the truth. He wants His message of hope spread. “From Paul, a slave of God and apostle of Jesus Christ, to further the faith of God’s chosen ones and the knowledge of the truth that is in keeping with godliness, in hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the ages began. But now in his own time he has made his message evident through the preaching I was entrusted with according to the command of God our Savior” (Titus 1:1-3). He wants EVERYONE to know that we can be healed. Healed of the things we see. Healed of our emotional baggage. Healed of our spiritual condition. Healed of any mental conditions. Healed of our pasts. Healed of – and in – our present. Healed body, soul, and spirit by the stripes, bruises, and wounds Jesus took for us. He took the punishment so that we could live freely. What He did that gives us such marvellous freedom, He wants to do for everyone. “First of all, then, I urge that requests, prayers, intercessions, and thanks be offered on behalf of all people, even for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. Such prayer for all is good and welcomed before God our Savior, since he wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one intermediary between God and humanity, Christ Jesus, himself human, who gave himself as a ransom for all, revealing God’s purpose at his appointed time” (1 Timothy 2:1-6).

The thing about this salvation – the complete salvation of spirit, mind, and soul from poverty, sickness & disease, toil, shame, unproductiveness, sin, and death – is that it changes you. If you really receive it and learn to walk in the new life you have been granted by Grace through trust in His Word, you will not remain the same. You will start to cherish the things of Adonai. You will also stop enjoying the things of the world. The more we separate ourselves through the Word from the world, the worse it feels for those around us. That’s right. True believers don’t operate in a vacuum. Our trust in Jesus changes us. “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also” (James 2:26). We can’t HELP but do the things that align with Adonai’s point of view because we love him (John 15:10). We love Him, obey Him, and want to do things that make Him smile. The thing that PLEASES Him is our trust. “Now without faith it is impossible to please him, for the one who approaches God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him” (Hebrews 11:6). If we are going to trust HIM, we’re going to need to trust ALL of Him. If we do that, we’re going to change. It’s inevitable.

The world HATES that kind of change. They see it and it strikes that chord that exists inside every human being (male or female). It is the ‘this is right’ chord. While it is possible to harden our hearts and deaden its sound, when a believer does what is right and good in the eyes of Adonai, unbelievers can feel that chord inside themselves vibrate. They start to feel guilty, because they KNOW it is wrong in their hearts. Consequently, they lash out trying to silence what they tell themselves is the cause of their discomfort: believers. Truth is, it is Ruach HaKodesh doing His job (John 16:8). This is one of the reasons they persecute believers who share Jesus. They LIKE their darkness. They LIKE their sin. “For everyone who does evil deeds hates the light and does not come to the light, so that their deeds will not be exposed” (John 3:20). Not because sin is great, but because they are blinded to the truth. “among whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who do not believe so they would not see the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God” (2 Corinthians 4:4). But this is the message Elohim wants us to spread: “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him. The one who believes in him is not condemned. The one who does not believe has been condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God” (John 3:17-18).

This isn’t a new message (Revelation 13:8). This is THE message. “But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we preach), because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:8-9). We get in my Grace, and by Grace we are saved. Totally. In every area. We can be healed, whole, and restored completely, utterly, and absolutely. This is the GOOD NEWS. No more spiritual poverty. No more sickness. No more disease. No more toiling for a pittance. We can work, be productive, and not lack. We can advance. All our needs met – and then some – by our Source: our Heavenly Father. No more merely surviving. No more fear of making it. No more anxiety (social or otherwise). No more failing left, right, and centre. Overcoming because we live within THE overcomer. We can be as Jesus IS RIGHT NOW, but HERE on this Earth. That’s not even counting the unimaginable glory, blessing, and favour that awaits us in Heaven. We don’t have to be ashamed of who we are. We are – in Jesus – the Righteousness of Elohim! We have access to Messiah Jesus’ mind! All scripture bears witness to our lives. It’s a book of little answers written by THE Answer. This is the Gospel Message: you don’t have to have lack in any arena anymore. Submit to Adonai in humble obedience, yolk to Jesus, and do it as He does it: say only what the Father tells you and do only what the Father shows you. That’s the best deal around. That’s the Divine Covenant between Father and Son, but WE get to partake by Grace through our Trust in Him and His Word (because they are inseparable).

It trains us to reject godless ways and worldly desires and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives”. This Gospel gets under our skin – but in the best way. It renews our minds, forges new pathways in our neural net, and helps us change the way we think about anything/everything into how Adonai thinks about everything/anything. No matter how small or ‘trivial’. That is the mind boggling thing about Adonai Elohim. He wants to be part of our lives. He wants us walking along His paths and His ways as we seek to accomplish what He’s prepared for us (Ephesians 2:10). It boggles the mind, but only until we start realising how great His love is for us. From OUR perspective, Jesus’ sacrifice was phenomenal. We didn’t deserve it. We can accept it, but do we really understand it? Yet from HIS point of view, it was the bare minimum to do. Because THAT is how big His love is for us. THAT is how much Jesus loved us. THAT is how much Adonai sought to remove from us all that came with the fall. All that got in because of Adam’s rebellion. All of that departing from us and letting us live as HE always wanted: free and satisfied. Fully connected to Him in every way. To be purified. When the process starts to happen (John 17:17), we become eager. POSITIVELY EAGER to do what is right and good in His sight. To walk in healing because we trust Him. We trust He is telling the truth.

Our journey is one of trust. Trust in Him. Trust in His Word. We don’t take things from strangers. It’s one of the biggest NO’s we teach our children. As children of Elohim, we’re to trust Him. Getting to know Him and His Word so well, no one can convince us of anything else. We will KNOW it so deeply, it will be one of the firmest convictions we have. Absolute trust that our absolutely GOOD Father wants ONLY the good things of life for us, NEVER sends bad things for ANY reason, and wants us walking in LOVE for Him and everyone else. When we do this, in THIS life, all the other blessings and wonders and glory will be a happy fulfilment of what our trust already told us was true. Eternal life is KNOWING Adonai. It is something that can start RIGHT NOW and ALWAYS leads to an abundance of life when it is founded, directed, and walked in our trust in Him. Whole. Healed. Nothing missing. Nothing broken. Not in Body. Not in Spirit. Not in Soul. Not in Mind. Not in Heart. Totally, completely, and absolutely HIS new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). Remember: if you are NEW (which you are), you don’t have to follow the OLD rules. In Jesus, it cannot touch you. THAT is news worth sharing, don’t you think?

Daily Affirmation Jesus IS Messiah: Isaiah 55:5

Look, you will summon nations you did not previously know; nations that did not previously know you will run to you, because of the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he bestows honor on you.” Foreign nations would come to Elohim because of Messiah. The witness He would be (verse 4, see yesterday) would change the face of the world. Nation after nation after nation would come to know of Messiah, because He would be the salvation of ALL people. Jew first, and then Gentile. This can be seen in the book of Acts. Pretty much the whole book. “Parthians, Medes, Elamites, and residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and the province of Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene, and visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own languages about the great deeds God has done!” (Acts 2:9-11). Paul alone (not the only travelling apostle – there were over seventy apostles in the early church) travelled to and through Israel, Syria, modern day Turkey,Malta, Cyprus, Crete, Italy and possibly Spain. All while planting churches and speaking the Gospel of Messiah. It was ALL about Jesus! Nations came to know Him. Jesus IS Messiah!
