Fear No Fear

“For to me, to continue living is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21, MEV). One of the best things about being loved by Jesus is that there is NO downside. None. As long as there is breath in our lungs, Jesus is living inside us. Holy Spirit has residence within us. We are NEVER alone. We are NEVER cut off. We can talk to Him, walk with Him, and follow the example He set. We can every day become more and more like Jesus. We can talk about Him and we can bless everyone around us that we come into contact with. But what if something goes wrong and this meatsuit we’re wearing stops breathing? If that happens, we get to be with Jesus at the Throne while we wait for the renewal of creation (Revelation 21:1). That isn’t a bad deal. Jesus with us or us with Jesus. I’m not seeing a downside. I’m not seeing a negative. Ambassadors of the Kingdom or residents of the Kingdom. Isn’t it great that Jesus loves us? What we had the opportunity to accept that love, His Lordship, and love Him back? Isn’t it great to be restored in Him and living an abundant life? Isn’t it great that He keeps us close, no matter where we are? There is NO downside to being loved by Jesus!
