Fear No Fear

“Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters came on the earth. Noah went into the ship with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives, because of the floodwaters. Clean animals, unclean animals, birds, and everything that creeps on the ground went by pairs to Noah into the ship, male and female, as God commanded Noah. After the seven days, the floodwaters came on the earth.”
(Genesis 7:6-10)

It was unbelievable by human standards. It was unheard of. It defied natural logic of every kind. It defied observation and human reasoning. It took over a hundred years (almost 120 years to the day). But it happened EXACTLY as God had said. Noah built the ark according to God’s specifications. God brought the animals (clean and unclean – from God’s point of view, the Law had not yet been given). When they were done, only male and female pairs were in the ark (whether human or animal). After seven days from God’s word to Noah (Genesis 7:4), the waters came. Everything happened like God said it would.

The Flood came 1,656 after the Fall.
