Fear No Fear

“Then the Lord said to him, “But I will be with you, and you will strike the Midianites as one man.”” (Judges 6:16, MEV). Our problems are not God’s problems. They seem so big and insurmountable to us, but to God they are not an issue. Who can stand against God (2 Chronicles 20:6)? Jesus already got us the victory and the devil is a defeated foe. It’s over. Done. Finished. That was the biggest ‘problem’ there was – getting humanity back into a relationship with God. All this other stuff that we are seeing as problems? They aren’t problems to Him. He has brought mountains down. He’s changed nations. He’s defeated entire armies as easily as knocking a person over. The biggest mess that we could ever get into, facing the worst of the worst of the worst, is not a big deal to God. He has overcome EVERYTHING in this world whether it is physical or spiritual (John 16:33). This means that He has a solution for EVERYTHING we will face. He has a way out. He has a way over. He has a way under. He has a way around. And He even has a way through. He has it ALL under control. That’s how much He loves us. He sees what’s coming before it is ever even birthed, and then He makes a way to get us walking in His victory. The things that surprise us do NOT surprise Him. The things that rise up, He saw them planted. He KNOWS. All we need to do is give Him His proper place. We need to submit to His wisdom. We need to acknowledge the superiority of His point of view. We need to align with Him and cooperate with Him. To obey Him even as we love Him. To let His love correct us and His Word guide us. If we do, we’ll get to walk out the solutions that He planned for us long before we saw an issue.
