2026 Daily Affirmation #140

God, who at various times and in diverse ways spoke long ago to the fathers through the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the world” (Hebrews 1:1-2, MEV). God loves us enough to properly communicate with us. Proper communication needs CLARITY. God – as soon as He had the opportunity – cut out the middle man. He gave us Holy Spirit (John 20:22). He transformed us (2 Corinthians 5:21). We were adopted into Him as His children (1 John 3:1-3). Since we ARE those things, we should not be surprised that He wants to TALK to us. Not just wants, but DOES. God speaks to us. Directly. Spirit to spirit. And He enables us to do the same thing to Him. We aren’t trying to get our prayers past the closed gates of Heaven. We aren’t trying to get the attention of the Father on the Throne of Heaven. We aren’t struggling. We simply need to speak, even whisper, because God is INSIDE of us and He hears EVERYTHING we say! As crazily amazing as that is, it gets better. God speaks to us directly. Jesus speaks to us. Holy Spirit speaks to us. The Father speaks to us. Directly to our spirit. Our spirits are sealed and secure in Him (Ephesians 1:13). They are standing before the Throne rejoicing. God speaks to our spirits. Our spirits tell us what God says. The Word speaks to us, but I am talking about direct communication. Spirit to spirit. We get to hear from Almighty God. It is a tremendous blessing. He explains His Word to us (revelation knowledge). He corrects us. He guides us. He leads us. And we KNOW that it is God because He sounds so very different from ourselves (John 10:27-28). Isn’t that tremendous? We don’t have to look at words someone wrote down and try and figure it out! We can ASK Him. And He will ANSWER us! He LOVES us. He TALKS to us. He wants us to talk to HIM. We get communication one to another. Spirit to spirit. Directly. He loves us and wants to know us and for us to know Him. We get to COMMUNICATE with God.
