Fear No Fear

“Serug lived thirty years, and became the father of Nahor. Serug lived two hundred years after he became the father of Nahor, and became the father of more sons and daughters.”
(Genesis 11:22-23)

Serug lived until Isaac was a year old. He was survived by Shem, Arphaxad, Salah, and Eber. How shocking it must have been to see the lives of humanity decrease so rapidly. Not only did the languages get confused, but the lifespans were shrinking (from almost a thousand to almost three hundred – quite a drop). The world was becoming a VERY different place than the one they knew. At this time, Noah was 793 years old.
