“Nahor lived twenty-nine years, and became the father of Terah. Nahor lived one hundred nineteen years after he became the father of Terah, and became the father of more sons and daughters”
(Genesis 11:24-25)
Now we’re getting into the next big narrative, which is the life of Abram. Terah is Abram’s father, Nahor his grandfather. When Terah was born, Noah was 822 years old, Shem was 320 years old, and Peleg was 121 years old.
Peleg died a year before Nahor. The rest of Nahor’s ancestors back to Noah outlived him. Noah outlived Nahor by nine years. Nahor would be around 99 years old when Abram was born. In all, Nahor lived 148 years.
