2026 Daily Affirmation #151

I can do all things because of Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13, MEV). Jesus doesn’t only hold our hands. He holds ALL of us. In fact, when we are properly aligned with Jesus, He lives THROUGH us: ‘I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me‘ (Galatians 2:20). This is love. He desires for us to succeed. He empowers us to succeed. And He goes the extra mile to live through us to ensure that we succeed. We achieve when He achieves through us (John 16:33). Jesus told us that the ultimate thing love can do is to give up life for one you love (John 15:13). This is what Jesus does for us. He doesn’t sit there up in Heaven waiting for us to be worthy enough to show up before Him. Jesus’ love for us is bigger than we can imagine. Jesus comes down while remaining where He is and lives THROUGH us. “God made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). This is what makes our relationship with Jesus so special. We are connected in a very intimate way. His Spirit lives within us (1 Corinthians 6:19). It is with that in mind that we should approach John 15:5: “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who remains in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit. For without Me you can do nothing.” This is how we get our strength, our joy, our peace, our health, and our everything. Connected to Him, drawing on all that He is, and letting Him enter us and work through us. THIS is how things get accomplished in our lives. THIS is how we overcome. THIS is how we get our strength. This is the loving relationship of Jesus in us, Jesus toward us, and us engaged with Him.
