2026 Daily Affirmation #161

Where there is no vision, the people perish; but happy is he who keeps the teaching” (Proverbs 29:18, MEV). Jesus loves us enough to call us into His dreams. Jesus has a vision for us. God has ALWAYS had a vision for us. He was thinking about us before creation was created (Revelation 13:8). He wasn’t just thinking of the moment you got saved. Or the troubles that would come your way throughout life. He was thinking about the Kingdom. And your active part of it. He was thinking about the BLESSING you could be in Him. He was thinking of all the BLESSING He could pour out through you if you would cooperate. He was thinking of how you could transform from glory to glory, day by day, not only in this life but throughout eternity. He was thinking of your favourite things. Your job. Your home. Your chores. Everything about your life. He thought about it. He DREAMED about it. And He was eagerly expecting the moment when you would catch the dream too. When we would start thinking about our lives the way HE thinks about our lives. When we would start thinking about ourselves the way HE thinks about us. We don’t catch the dream by accident. It’s contagious, but it is only contagious in VERY close proximity. We need to keep hearing the message of God. We need to keep hearing teaching about Jesus. We need to know about His love for us. We need to know a LOT about it. We need to court Him. To read all about Him, hear all about Him, study all about Him – and BELIEVE what we receive. We’ll be able to discern the difference between the TRUTH and the stories the devil wants us to believe. We’ll start to hear His voice all throughout our day – not just at prayer time. His presence will become a constant in our lives. Somewhere along that path, we’ll catch the dream. It will infect us. We’ll start to dream it too. We’ll think and say what God thinks and says. We’ll start seeing the love of Jesus so clearly it will almost be a physical thing. Because He loves us enough to bring His dreams into our lives.
