2026 Daily Affirmation #224

Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, “My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My good pleasure,”” (Isaiah 46:9-10, MEV). God is God and He loves us enough to tell us what He IS going to do. That is a blessing and a wonderful gift. It is also a warning. He isn’t up there hoping that enough people decide to align with Him that He can accomplish what He wants. He isn’t taking attendance in church for His benefit so that He can move. He is going to do what He told us He’s going to do. Period. It WILL happen. We might not see it coming. We might not know the day and time. It might not even happen the way we THINK it’s going to happen. But it WILL happen. The only question is whether we trust and believe, not whether He is going to do it. Trust is how we interact with the Kingdom. That’s how spiritual things become physical things. Trust in God. That’s the ONLY way it has EVER happened. If we want to see the things of God manifest in our lives or see God move in and around us, we have to believe what He says and trust in Him. It makes no difference if you’re asking for help with a test, the opportunity to make enough money to pay the bills, being healed, or assistance in the face of a catastrophe. It’s all the same mechanism. Believe what God says in His Word. Trust in God’s ability to do it. The reliance on Him, the not mixing trust with time (His schedule, not ours), and our thanks for what He’s done even before He’s done it; all that comes out of our belief that He is telling the truth and our trust that He can do it. That’s why we are only to pray His Will (as revealed in His Word). That’s the only thing we can truly trust. God is not shy about telling us what’s coming. We need to believe Him. Trust He will do it. And then we need to align with Him so that we are on the side that is going to be safe, secure, and provided for – from His point of view. That’s the best place to be and throughout scripture we see time and again that’s the only place where the BLESSING lives.
