2026 Daily Affirmation #235

And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring good news of good things!”” (Romans 10:15, MEV). God loves us enough to tell us the Good News – and loves us enough to enable us to spread it. We tell people about good deals. The sales that we saw. The bargain we noticed. The BOGO we benefited from. Whole careers are built on the dissemination of this information to the general public. But do we ever really talk about Jesus? Do we ever really share the Good News? Now, we aren’t meant to go door to door talking about Jesus – though there is nothing wrong with that. We are meant to live lives that people notice. They see His light in us and wonder what it is. They see that we are BLESSED and they wonder why that is. They see that we don’t react like everyone around us and they wonder how we manage that. When the craziness of the world explodes, we are calm and peaceful. We always have enough. We’re not quick to judge. We don’t mock. We have values and we stick with them. We’re LOVING. We are meant to live in such a way that people will start approaching US. They’ll notice US. They won’t be able to help themselves. They will need to KNOW. And that’s when we tell them. That’s when we share the simple truths that were shared with us. That’s when we get to introduce them to Jesus. Not by trying to shove a tract down their throats, but explaining that WE can’t do ANY of it. It is JESUS who does it THROUGH us. JESUS who gives us peace. JESUS who opens the door to provision. JESUS who was merciful and shows us grace. JESUS who taught us to love. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Our witness starts with how we live our lives. God loves us enough to bless us so that we can share that blessing with others and get them curious about who God is and what God does.
