Fear No Fear

“For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, how much more, being reconciled, shall we be saved by His life” (Romans 5:10, MEV). God loved us enough to put our names in His Book of Life – and then give us the chance to leave them there. We don’t think about it like that, but that’s essentially what He did. He paid for Sin. He paid for our iniquities. He did what He needed to to take our place, pay the price for Sin, and make the Way open for us to receive life. For us to be reconciled to Him. He did it all spiritually before He created anything (Revelation 13:8), and then Jesus physically walked it out and finished everything over two thousand years ago. It is done, sealed, and waiting to be delivered. So in a way our names were on the ledger of Life before we were even born. The name was there, ready to be ratified. Like a reservation at a resort. Our name was down. Everything paid for. All we had to do was show up and claim our reservation. To accept what had been done for us. If we do, we get all that has been prepared for us. If we do not, then our name will be blotted out (Revelation 3:5). The reservation removed. Simply because WE chose NOT to claim it. It is not God who sends us to Hell. Hell was not EVER meant for a single human being (Matthew 25:41). We were meant ONLY to be saved and safe (2 Peter 3:9). He loved us enough to prepare the Way. He loved us enough to go through with it. He loved us enough to tell us about it – repeatedly. He loved us enough to keep our place open. It is up to us to respond. It is up to us to accept it. It is up to us to receive it. It is up to us to walk through that open door. If you haven’t, don’t wait. Don’t delay. Take what’s been prepared for you. And if you have? Rejoice. Thank Him. Praise Him. Never stop being grateful. He made the Way. He did it for you. He is AWESOME!
