2026 Daily Affirmation #302

“But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one” (2 Thessalonians 3:3, MEV). God loves us enough to share His nature with us. He is faithful. It’s who He is. He cannot be anything else. It is a foreign concept to us because we are selfish creatures, but God is NOT selfish. God is faithful. He is that He is that He was that He will be (Exodus 3:14). He doesn’t change (Malachi 3:6). He is consistent. He is constant. He IS. That is a MASSIVE blessing for us. We can trust that. We can believe that. We can live our lives around that. If God says it, then He will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24). We can trust Him. That’s hard for us. Because we see all sorts of things that seem to say the opposite. We see what isn’t happening, instead of what is. Daniel prayed and didn’t get an answer for weeks – from HIS point of view (Daniel 10:13). In truth, the answer was released IMMEDIATELY – but there was a spiritual delay (Daniel 10:12). We cannot see behind the curtain. We don’t know the perfect times. We don’t know what is happening or how other people will be affected. But God does. We spend weeks praying that our home sells because we’re called elsewhere and there’s a timeline. But do we spend time praying for those who are to purchase the house? What’s going on in their lives? We cannot see all the actors on the stage or how we all connect to each other. But God does. God acts in the perfect time. God knows what is best. If we will submit to His will and not delay Him, fight Him, and rebel against Him (Psalm 78:41), then everything will work out perfectly. Even when we buck against Him and rebel, He will still bring to pass what He has said – it is always ourselves that miss out. God can be trusted. God is faithful. He won’t drop the ball. He won’t forget you. He won’t miss. He’s got you. He’s got the situation. He’s MORE THAN ENOUGH. Believe what He says. Trust Him. You won’t be disappointed. Ever.
