Fear No Fear

“Study to show yourself approved by God, a workman who need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15, MEV). Adam was placed in the Garden to work (Genesis 2:8). The curse that entered the world because of Adam’s rebellion wasn’t work, but TOIL. Expending many magnitudes of effort to get back next to nothing. That’s what the world system is. Not many people WANT it to be that, but life in the world is a kicker and it takes a LOT to survive, much less thrive. But that isn’t the way life was designed to be. We were designed to overcome. To steward this world with dominion over it, not domination. To make it the best it could be, not to take the best for ourselves. We are meant to be workmen, not toilers. We’re meant to spread the BLESSING we operate in. To make other peoples lives a positive experience, not a negative one. As WE were picked up by Jesus and given so much more than we could have imagined, we’re meant to pick others up so that Jesus can take them higher. To be a small picture of the big picture. As humans, we seem to have a problem believing God. In believing that what He says is possible IS possible. That’s why Jesus came to show us how to do it, then sacrifice Himself to pay the price for Sin, and finally to resurrect to new life and open the Way for us to do the same. We, having joined Him in His resurrection, can be the example for others. We’re BLESSED to be a BLESSING. We’re lights so that He can make MORE light. He helps us to help others so that He can help them too. It’s an amazing process. We’re meant to cooperate with Him. To WORK alongside Him. To be reflections of His light, His love, and His mercy.
